Although it is small in population, it is home to some of Southwest Florida’s most important landmarks. Florida Gulf Coast University and RSW Airport are both located in Estero. Estero is also home to Hertz Arena, which hosts sporting events and entertainment. Miromar Outlets is a major shopping mall in Estero. The median price of a home in Estero is around $304,200.
Naples is one of the southernmost cities in Southwest Florida with a population of about 22,000. As one of the wealthiest cities in the country and a major tourist destination, Naples is known for fine dining, high-end shopping, and luxury golf courses. However, there is a range of options for homes, with the median home price falling around $316,400. Naples is also known for its white sand beaches, which are easily accessible beaches for their residents throughout town.
Fort Myers is one of the biggest cities in Southwest Florida, with a population of 77,000 and a median home price of $208,100. With a lower median home price than other cities and more things to do, Fort Myers is a great option for many to find their dream home. It’s home to historic winter residences of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. Fort Myers has a busy downtown area full of beaches, shopping, and dining.
Cape Coral is one of the fastest growing cities in Southwest Florida and is the largest city between Tampa and Miami. The population is around 165,831 and the median home price is $230,100. With over 400 miles of navigable waterways, the city is known as the “waterfront wonderland”.

Each city in Southwest Florida has something great to offer.
