Florida House Market Staying Strong
As the market deals with the aftermath of COVID-19, the Florida real estate market remains healthy. While the number of foreign buyers has decreased this year, domestic buyers are taking the lead.
Overall, the sales volume has increased by 19% for single-family homes and 15% for condos and townhouses compared to last year. About 13% of buyers purchased a new home to avoid plumbing and electrical issues.
Estero Positive Trends
Back in March, the housing market saw a decline in closings since there was much uncertainty with COVID-19. Today, the market continues to pick up with listings staying fewer days on the market and pending sales increasing compared to past months.
The decreased in days on the market was 14.9% for condos and 12% for single-family homes. This reflects how buyers have been more active than sellers causing the number of properties available to decline.
Estero New Construction Opportunities
Estero is one of the cities in America with the newest real estate. About 67 percent of the houses were built in 2000 or later. This makes it a great place to look for new construction opportunities as the city continues to expand.
Whether buyers are looking for a lake-front view, access to a private beach, or luxurious amenities, Estero has plenty of options. With more than 5 communities’ construction in the past few years, developers continue to seek new home buyers.
Miromar Lakes, The Place at Corkscrew, WildBlue, and Corkscrew Shores are some of the
communities with new construction available. Depending on the buyer’s budget, new house prices range from $250k to millions of dollars.
At Corkscrew Shore you will find medium-priced homes, while at Miromar Lakes you will find luxury new construction at a starting point of $1M.
